2024 Nicks Secret BBN Rose

This Rose is from one of Geelong’s most revered estates made from a blend of estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Riesling & Merlot grown on established vineyards, planted in 1981, 1990 & 1996. Organically farmed it’s juicy, fleshy and intensely flavoured.

Get ready for spring and step into this delicious, bargain priced Rose.

Pale blood orange tinged colour. Spicy cherry, raspberry and blood orange aromas mix with some dried clove like notes. Tangy blood orange, raspberry, watermelon and pomegranate fruits meld into a spicy dried clove back drop. Slippery textured it has brisk, slatey acidity and a long dry, spicy finish that’s quite moreish.
Drink over the next year.

Dust and leaf notes ripple through blackcurrant bud, citrus, jubey raspberry and sweet spice. It’s a dry rosé with lots of spice and leaf notes but with a good core of juicy fruit too. Colour-wise it sits just on the pale or orange side of crimson; it’s a fair indicator of the dry-but-flavoursome-style of the wine. There’s a meaty/bunchy/Campari-esque side to this; it’s not dominant but it’s there. This would be great with food. Drink 2024-2028.
