2024 Mulline Chardonnay

Elegant but nicely shaped with a long slate edged finish.

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish toned edges and a watery hue. Nosing reveals scents of of white peach infused with a mix of graphite, wet slate and gun flint like notes followed by some faint dried honey and oyster shell elements. Elegant but nicely shaped, white peach, pear and delicate dried honey flavours are featured over a back drop of wet slate, oyster shell and a graphite like minerality. Nicely integrated acidity with a long, fleshy, slate edged finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

A blend of fruit from the Moorabool Valley, Barrabool Hills and Bellarine Peninsulas in Geelong. The boys at Mulline have nailed this new and well-priced addition to the range. Gently saline, with aromas of perfectly ripened white peaches. The palate is simultaneously fleshy, structured and long. A wine to buy by the case and enjoy over the next three to four years. Drink by 2028.
