2024 Moorooduc Estate Chardonnay
Generously fleshed with excellent underlying freshness and a long refined finish.
100% wild yeast fermented in French oak barrels, 10% being new with 80% natural malolactic fermentation and 9 months maturation in barrel. Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive tint of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Elevated white peach, nectarine and dried honey aromas combine with cashew, citrusy nougat and gun flint. Medium bodied and carrying a gently creamed feel, generously fleshed white peach and nectarine fruits are complimented by dried honey, biscuity nougat, subtle cashew and delicate infusions of gun flint. Excellent underlying freshness with a long beautifully shaped and refined finish.
