2024 Laroche Saint-Martin Chablis

A delicious, gorgeously rounded Chablis.

Founded in 1850, Domaine Laroche is one of the largest owners of Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in Chablis. Their Saint Martin Chablis is a blend of the very best plots of the Domaine’s 60 hectares of Chablis appellation vineyards. 85% of it is aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks and 15% in 55hl foudres for minimum of 6 months.

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Delightful pear, lime and green apple scents sail through the nostrils overlaid by wet slate, oyster shell and mineral notes. Delicious pear and lime fruits carry a slippery flow across what is a gorgeously rounded palate. Notions of green apple, wet stone, subtle infusions of fresh herbs and a saline like minerality the undercard. Excellent intensity with brisk acidity lending a fresh feel across the long shapely finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
