2024 Ironcloud Rock of Solitude Chardonnay

Rich, concentrated and voluminous with ripe fleshy fruits.

Matured in French oak barriques for 9 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with green tinted edges and a watery hue. Pronounced pear and ripe nectarine aromas jump out of the glass followed by hints of dried honey, cashew, melon, biscuity nougat and spice notes. Rich, full and voluminous, ripe juicy pear, peach and nectarine fruits are to the fore. Spicy nougat, crème brulee, subtle cashew and dried honey elements linger across the back half. Excellent concentration finishing long, full and round with enough acidity to keep it on the fresh side.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
