Matured in seasoned oak for 15 months. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark purple hue. Freshly crushed blackberry, liquorice and dark plum aromas fly out of the glass complimented by vanillin cedar, inky earth and peppered fennel notes. Rich, super succulent and concentrated, the palate is engulfed with juicy blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits. Spicy vanillin cedar, inky earth and peppered fennel elements unfold across the back half. Superb power with velvet smooth tannins and an underlying vibrancy. Concludes long and plush yet fresh.
