2024 Freycinet Wine Glass Bay Sauvignon Blanc
Excellent textural volume and intensity, finishing long and scrumptious.
Partially fermented in older French oak barriques. Brilliant water like core with a faint greenish tinge around the outskirts. Pungent gooseberry and passionfruit aromas leap from the glass followed by some lime, herbaceous asparagus and grassy notes. The mouth watering palate is awash with passionfruit, ripe gooseberry and lime flavours which are underscored by crisp acidity. Excellent textural volume and intensity with delicate pencil shaving, asparagus and herbaceous grassy elements lingering on the back half. Long scrumptious finish.

Other Reviews….
East Coast sauvignon blanc, pale with a green facet and inviting aromas of grapefruit, melon, citrus and gooseberry fruits, plus hints of sea spray, white flowers, crushed stone, flint, shelled peas, passionfruit and a light herbal nuance. Crisp and focused with a wicked mineral cadence, plenty of vibrant fruit and a stony, crisp, herb-flecked exit. Super! Drink by 2028.
