2024 Freycinet Louis Chardonnay

Geoff and Susan Bull were early viticultural pioneers on the East Coast of Tasmania, establishing Freycinet Vineyard in 1979. It is situated adjacent to the picturesque Freycinet Peninsula, (latitude 42 degrees), which is named in honour of the French explorer Louis de Freycinet, who chartered the region in 1802.
Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Elevated white peach, nectarine and melon scents mix with stony mineral elements. Nectarine, citrus and subtle grapefruit flavours are intermeshed with melon and flinty mineral accents. Zippy acidity with a fresh, energised conclusion.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
