2024 Feudo Arancio Grillo
Nicely shaped with delicious pear, lime, green apple and guava fruits showing impressive intensity.
Brilliant pale straw colour with flecks of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose is filled with pear, lime and guava aromas. Hints of Mediterranean herbs and slatey minerals are also evident. Nicely shaped, delicious pear, lime, green apple and guava fruits are delivered with impressive intensity. Subtle fresh herb and stony mineral elements linger underneath. Crisp acidity with a long refreshingly juicy finish.
Drink over the next year.

Other Reviews…..
A grape which is yet to gain a foothold in Australia, wines like this would suggest that it would be no surprise to see some significant interest in it in the near future. From Sicily, this is cracking value. Gleaming gold in colour, the nose offers exuberant aromatics with notes of orange rinds, nectarines, lemon curd, stone fruits, ripe peaches and apricots. Seamless in structure, there is a creamy texture, impressive balance and very good length. This is perhaps the best example of this grape I have seen from these guys. Delicious. Enjoy it over the next three to four years. Drink 2025-2029.
