2024 Dominique Portet Single Vineyard Pinot Noir
Light, elegant and supple with energetic acidity and a savoury red fruited conclusion that shows plenty of spice.
Semi translucent cherry red colour with a light crimson red hue. Fragrant red to dark cherry, wild strawberry, violet and dried clove scents are trailed by some rhubarb, red liquorice and spicy dried herb notes. Light, elegant and supple in its flow across the palate, red cherry, winter strawberry and rhubarb fruits are featured over a dried clove, bramble, forest floor and spicy dried herb back drop. Energetic acidity and fine boned tannins with a savoury red fruited conclusion that shows plenty of spice.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.

From a vineyard at 230m in Gladysdale. All MV6, 15% whole bunches. A light, bright ruby. Pretty with bright red fruits, florals and a little green peppercorn spice. Gently sappy on the light, red-fruited, spice-inflected palate. A delicious short- to medium-term proposition. Drink by 2029.

Perfumed aromas of red cherries, wild strawberries, rose petals, blood oranges, spices and crushed stones. The palate is medium-bodied and finely structured, with a bright acidity and crunchy tannins giving flavors of cranberries, pomegranate, dried herbs and mineral notes. Balanced and focused with a savory undertone. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
