2024 De Bortoli The Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir

A generously fruited, supplely textured Yarra Valley Pinot that delivers great value.

This expressive Yarra Valley Pinot is sourced from De Bortoli’s younger plantings and sees some whole bunch inclusion with maturation taking place in a mix of new and used 225 and 500 litre French casks for a period of 6 months.
Semi translucent red colour with dark red to black toned edges and a light red hue. Spicy dark cherry and strawberry scents blossom out of the glass with hints of rhubarb, bramble and dried herbs also chiming in. Layered and supple, delicious dark cherry and strawberry fruits flow across the palate with subtle anise, dried herb, bramble and spice elements lurking underneath. Polished, fine grained tannins. Exhibiting ample power and possessing a silken feel, it finishes long and moreish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
