2024 Bindi Kostas Rind Chardonnay

Bindi is one of Australia’s most respected small estates, producing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir of purity and finesse. The vines grow in a mix of ancient Ordovician soils and volcanic slopes in the Macedon Ranges, farmed with sustainable, low-intervention methods and intensive handwork. In the winery, natural fermentations, long lees ageing, and gentle handling capture the seasonal expression of this remarkable landscape.
Sourced from the 1988 plantings on volcanic soils over clay, Kostas Rind is whole-bunch pressed straight to barrel, with fermentation by wild yeasts and 10 months’ maturation on full lees (25% new oak). The 2024 release is fragrant and finely poised, with spice, citrus, florals, and subtle nutty, stony complexity. Expect a fresh, energetic palate, creamy at first, then driven and pure, with superb balance and longevity.
