2024 Apsley Gorge Vineyard Pinot Noir

A rich medium bodied Pinot that has a long, structured yet savoury finish.

Totally opaque black dark red core with a purple red tinged hue. Spicy dark to black cherry and liquorice aromas infused with a mix of graphite and dried herb like notes spiral out of the glass. Some brambly rhubarb notes are also evident. Rich and quite lush, the medium bodied palate is flooded with dark to black cherry, anise and ripe strawberry flavours. Earthy graphite, bramble and spicy dried herb characters lurk underneath. Excellent power with a sturdy tannin framework and bright acidity that leans into a long, ripe, structured yet savoury finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
