2024 Ad Hoc Hen & Chicken Chardonnay

Winemaker Larry Cherubino has fashioned a generously flavoured Chardonnay from the favourable 2024 vintage in Pemberton. Aged in a combination of new and two year old French oak barrels, it has a level of concentration and depth that’s hard to match at this price.

A rich, beautifully shaped Chardonnay that delivers outstanding value.

Brilliant pale straw colour with flashes of green to the edges and a watery hue. Flowing through the nostrils with impressive intensity are attractive white peach, nectarine and dried honey scents followed by some nougat, cashew and spice notes. Rich and concentrated, fleshy white peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours carry beautiful shape across the mid weighted palate. Notions of citrusy nougat, cashew and spice lend further interest. Good underlying freshness with a creamy textural feel building across the long finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
