A generously fruited blend that carries ample flesh.
A blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon and 49% Shiraz matured for 10 months in 12% new French and Hungarian oak hogsheads. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark purple hue. Inky blackcurrant, liquorice and dark plum aromas fill the nostrils complimented by some cedary tobacco and subtle bay leaf notes. Rich blackcurrant, plum and mulberry fruits carry ample flesh with some liquorice, cedary tobacco and earthy bay leaf characters highlighted across the back half. Polished yet slightly inky feel with fine grained tannins and a long generously fruited finish.
