2023 Yalumba Hand Picked Shiraz Viognier

Rich and silky with polished yet structured tannins and a long succulent finish that has a refined feel to it.

Co-fermented with 2% Voignier and including 15% whole bunch Shiraz fruit, this blend was matured for 13 months in French oak puncheons and hogsheads.
Midnight black dark red core with a dark red hue. Elevated liquorice, dark plum and black cherry scents fill the nostrils with whiffs of dried apricot, vanillin cedar, earth and pepper also evident. Rich and silky, the mid weighted palate features dark plum and liquorice fruit over a spicy fennel, vanillin cedar, subtle scorched earth and pepper back drop. Polished yet structured tannins with a long succulent finish that has a refined feel to it.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
