2023 Vasse Felix Classic Dry Red Shiraz
Fresh and juicy with a slightly inky feel, chalky tannins and a lively fruit driven finish.
Dense inky black core with a bright dark purple hue. Freshly crushed dark to black cherry and liquorice aromas are trailed by some inky earth, smoked meat and peppered herb notes. Fresh and juicy the mid weighted palate sports dark cherry and liquorice fruits over subtle scorched earth and peppered meat characters. Fleshy yet slightly inky feel with chalky tannins and a lively fruit driven finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Other Reviews……
One of the best value reds around, not simply because of its price point but the quality within. Sure it’s not overly complex, that’s not its raison d’être; it’s juicy, vibrant and fresh with upfront fruit, all plums and cherries. A little dash of black pepper in the mix. Good flavour throughout, plush tannins and a fresh finish. A tip-top barbecue wine. Drink by 2031.
