2023 Sons of Eden Remus Old Vine Shiraz

A rich, sumptuous Eden Valley Shiraz that boasts superb power and a long sleek yet savoury finish.

Sourced from three different vineyards in the Eden Valley region with vines 80 plus years old. Included in the fermentation process were up to 15% whole bunch clusters with maturation taking place in French oak hogsheads (60% new) for a period of 18 months.
Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Potent spicy dark plum, liquorice and dark to black cherry scents are interwoven with fennel, smoky vanillin cedar, earth and peppered meat notes. Rich, sumptuous and plush the palate is draped with plum, liquorice and dark cherry fruits which meld into a smoky vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered earth back drop. Boasting superb power it has velvet smooth tannins and a long sleek yet savoury finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
