2023 Silkman Hunter Valley Semillon
Zippy lemon, lime and green apple fruits are spring boarded by crisp, steely mineral laced acidity.
Brilliant water like colour with green tinted edges. Expressive lemon, lime zest and Granny Smith apple scents are intermeshed with subtle toast, wet steel and mineral notes. Zippy lemon, lime and green apple fruits are spring boarded by crisp, steely mineral laced acidity. Excellent drive finishing long, tense and steely.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.

Other Reviews…..
A blend of Brokenback, Blackberry and Murphy Vineyards (40/40/20%). The wine has some post-ferment lees maturation, adding texture and weight to the palate. There is a lot going on in this delicious wine: lemon zest, grapefruit, lime leaf and a little freshly cut grass. The palate is zippy and intense, with fabulous shape from the interplay between the acidity and phenolics. It is a joyous, well-balanced wine with great drive. Simply fabulous for the price. Drink by 2028.
