2023 Scorpo Noirien Pinot Noir

Matured for 7 months in French oak barriques of which 11% were new. Semi translucent red to dark red colour with a vibrant red hue. Perfumed like aromas of violet and clove mix with sour to red cherry, winter strawberry, fresh herb, brambly cedar and forest floor notes. Light in body red cherry and winter strawberry fruits combine with a dash of sour cherry, dried clove, rhubarb, bramble, spice and forest floor. Fine grained tannins with fresh, tangy like acidity lending an energetic feel to the long elegant and very savoury finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
