Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. A mix of morello and black cherry aromas are joined by liquorice, spicy dried herb and scorched earth notes. Rich black and morello cherry together with some liquorice fruits are constrained by bright acidity and a slightly muscular tannin structure. Dried herb, earth and spice characteristics linger underneath. Tense compact mid length finish.
