Midnight black core with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Fragrant red to dark currant and mulberry scents drift from the glass trailed by some cedary tobacco, dried herb, black olive and faint stalk notes. Elegant spicy red currant and mulberry fruits are layered across the mid weighted palate with tobacco, dried herb, black olive and subtle stalky cedar characters echoing through the back half. Youthful and bright it has fine grained tannins and a savoury mid length finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Other Reviews.....
A blend of 62/32/6% cabernet sauvignon/merlot/malbec. Rob knows a thing or two about cabernet, most likely, I'm guessing, from his days at Mount Mary. A brilliant, crimson purple, this fragrant wine leaps out of the glass with its bouquet of cassis, liqueur cherries, cedar, violets and just a soupçon of fresh tomato leaf. Medium bodied, this juicy-fruited wine is impeccably balanced with silky, persistent tannins that resonate throughout. If this was a pinot, it would be double the price. Drink by 2032.
