2023 Riversdale Estate Chardonnay

Rich, creamy textured flavours counterpointed by a keen line of acidity.

Matured in a combination of 65% French and 35% American oak barrels (50% new) for a period of 3-5 months with 30% of the blend undergoing malolactic fermentation. Brilliant pale straw colour with green tinged edges and a watery hue. Pronounced peach, dried honey and nectarine aromas are intermeshed with cashew, nougat and spice notes. Rich, creamy textured flavours of ripe peach, nectarine, dried honey, cashew, citrusy nougat and spice are counterpointed by a keen line of acidity. Concludes long, refined and fresh. Dual Trophy Winner.
