Dark red core with black toned edges and a red to dark red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of red currant, red plum and red liquorice followed by some dusty earth, dried herb and spice notes. Juicy red currant, plum and red liquorice fruits are supported by a slightly chalky tannin structure and fresh acidity. Fleshy textured it has some earth and spicy dried herb elements in the background. The deeply fruited finish carrying a subtle muscular feel.
