Fruit was sourced from the Hilltops and Canberra regions with maturation taking place in older barriques for a period of 14 months. Semi translucent red to dark red colour with a vibrant light red purple tinged hue. Fragrant rose petal, red cherry and red currant aromas mix with hints of earth, Mediterranean herbs and spicy tobacco. Light to medium bodied and bright, the elegant palate features red cherry and red currant fruits over infusions of Mediterranean herbs, earth and spice. Fresh bouncy feel with fine grained tannins and crunchy like acidity. Spicy and energetic it has a savoury red fruited finish.
