A commercial mid weighted style of Coonawarra Shiraz with juicy dark fruits.
Matured in French oak barriques (25% new) for a period of 12 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. The nose offers up aromas of dark plum, liquorice and blackberry followed by some vanillin cedar and subtle mint notes. Juicy dark plum and liquorice fruits carry medium body weight with notions of dried herbs, spicy vanillin cedar and peppered earth sitting in the background. Fine grained tannins with a mid length finish.
