Light and spicy with a strong dried clove element, slightly edgy acidity, bitter tannins and a lean finish.
Semi translucent cherry red core with a light, slightly rustic red hue. On the nose prominent spicy dried clove scents are intermeshed with red cherry, winter strawberry, forest floor and graphite like notes. Light and spicy palate with red cherry and rhubarb flavours overtaken by a strong dried clove element on the back half. Some earthy graphite characters also chime in. Slightly edgy acidity and bitter tannins with a lean finish that shows plenty of spice.
