2023 Mollydooker Two Left Feet Shiraz Cabernet Merlot

A ripe, lush red that finishes long and sumptuous.

A blend of 70% Shiraz, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot sourced from McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek. Maturation took place in a combination of 97% American and 3% French oak (37% new). Impenetrable pitch black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Ripe dark plum, liquorice and blackcurrant scents waft through the nostrils followed by some gently smoked vanillin oak, earth and spice notes. Rich, dense and opulent, the full bodied palate is swamped with lush dark plum, liquorice and blackberry fruits. Spicy vanillin oak, scorched earth and pepper elements trail off into the distance. Ripe, fleshy yet underlying sturdy tannins finishing long and sumptuous.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
