2023 Mollydooker The Boxer Shiraz

Rich, voluptuously textured and flamboyant.

Sourced from McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek the flamboyant Boxer Shiraz is famed for it’s massive fruit weight, voluptuous texture and decadent richness. Maturation took place in 100% American oak of which 40% was new and the rest one year old.
Impenetrable inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Heady liquorice and dark plum scents engulf the nostrils followed by trailing notes of dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spicy fennel. The rich, voluptuously textured palate is flooded with plush dark plum, liquorice and blackberry fruits which are interwoven with toasty vanillin oak, dark chocolate and spicy fennel characters. Boasting outstanding power it has silky smooth tannins and a long plump finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
