Matured in seasoned French oak. Midnight black heart with a dark red hue. Lifted dark raspberry and liquorice aromas meld with scorched earth, dried herb and peppered meat notes. Rich, succulent dark raspberry and liquorice fruits drive the full bodied palate with scorched earth, vanillin spice and peppered meat elements sitting in the background. Slightly chewy tannins. Excellent concentration with a juicy textural feel and long, fresh, deeply fruited finish.
