2023 Mesh Riesling

Mesh is a joint venture between two of Australia’s leading exponents of Riesling, Clare Valley’s Jeffrey Grosset and Eden Valley’s Robert Hill-Smith.
Brilliant water like core with greenish tinged edges. Leaping out of the glass are intense lemon and lime scents followed by some green apple, orange rind, talc and steely mineral notes. Tense and focused yet powerful, crunchy lemon, lime and orange rind flavours are underscored by searing acidity with some green apple, chalky talc and steely mineral characteristics lingering across the back half. Finishes dry and crisp with a long sizzling mineral infused aftertaste.
