A blend of 86.2% Grenache, 6% Carignan, 6% Counoise and 1.8% Cinsault with 50% of the wine matured in seasoned American oak.
Dark red heart with black shaded edges and a red to dark red hue. Pronounced aromas of dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry fill the nostrils with hints of scorched earth and pepper also making an appearance. Succulent dark raspberry, dark cherry and liquorice fruits decorate the mid weighted palate. Scorched earth and peppered dried herb characters lie underneath. Velvety tannins and fresh acidity with a juicy mid length finish.
