2023 Juliard Wines GSM

Juicy and bright finishing elegant and energetic.

A blend of 50% Grenache, 35% Shiraz and 15% Mourvèdre. Deep dark red black tinged core with a dark red hue. Elevated dark raspberry, dark plum and liquorice aromas sail through the nostrils followed by some herb du Provence, scorched earth, vanillin spice and pepper notes. Juicy and bright, the palate carries light to medium body weight with red raspberry, blueberry and red liquorice fruits to the fore. Cranberry juice, light earth and spice elements sit in the background. Crunchy like acidity and fine grained tannins with a finish that’s elegant and energetic.

Juliard brings such energy to its wines and none more so than its GSM, which pulses to a bright acid drive while delivering vibrant cherry, dried raspberry red plum, pressed flowers and spiced flavours with smart vanilin oak. Delivers an impressive purity of fruits and spice set to a cherry pip, dry tannin structure with aforementioned juicy acidity really working the tastebuds. All-round good balance and excellent drinking early, if you choose. Drink by 2032.
