2023 JJ Hahn Western Ridge Shiraz

Rich, succulent and silky smooth.

Matured in a combination of French (15% new) and American oak barrels for a period of 16 months. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Wafting out of the glass are dark plum, dark chocolate and liquorice aromas which are complimented by vanillin oak, earthy mocha and subtle spicy dried herb notes. Rich succulent dark plum, dark cherry, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours flow across the palate with a polished feel. Spicy vanillin cedar, dried herb and subtle scorched earth elements lurk underneath. Silky smooth tannins with a long velvety finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
