2023 Henschke Peggy’s Hill Riesling

Henschke’s Peggy’s Hill Riesling takes its name from the local landmark ‘Peggy’s Hill’ located at the top of the range between the villages of Eden Valley and Keyneton. Fruit is sourced from Henschke Eden Valley growers whose vines are up to 50 years old.
Brilliant water like colour with a greenish tint to the edges. Bursting from the glass are intense lime, citrus and orange rind scents followed by some distinct talc and chalky mineral notes. The mouth watering palate features lime, citrus and orange rind fruits which are delivered with terrific concentration. Crisp Granny Smith like acidity underscores the fruit giving it a laser like focus. Chalky talc and steely mineral elements are interspersed throughout the long scrumptious finish.
