2023 Heirloom Vineyards Pinot Noir

Fifty percent whole bunch fruit was used in the fermentation process with maturation taking place in second and third use French oak for a period of 7 months.
Dark red core with black toned edges and a light crimson red hue. A very fragrant bouquet of violets, red cherries and wild strawberries greets the nostrils trailed by some clove, subtle anise, forest floor and fresh herb notes. Delicious red cherry, red raspberry and wild strawberry fruits are both vibrant and supple across the palate with infusions of fresh herbs, violets and spice lying underneath. Bright acidity and polished tannins lead into a long finish that’s both juicy and crunchy.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
