Pitch black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced liquorice and ripe blackberry aromas intermix with toasty vanillin oak, hints of dark plum and pepper. Rich and juicy, the amply weighted palate is awash with liquorice and dark plum fruits. Subtlety toasted vanillin cedar and peppered earth elements follow on. Plush mouth feel with velvety tannins and a succulent blackpepper laced finish.
