2023 Feudo Arancio Inzolia
Zingy fruited finishing dry and slatey.
Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with green tinted edges and a watery hue. Aromas of pear, guava and mango fill the nostrils with some lime and slatey mineral notes also evident. Spicy pear, guava, green apple and lime flavours carry a river stone like feel as they marry into a slatey crushed rock back drop. Finishes very dry with zingy acidity and a slatey aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
Alc. 13%
Other Reviews…..
From Sicily, it seems we rarely see examples from any other maker of this attractive white variety. A bit of a shame as, based on this, it is a most worthwhile variety. Still, as they say in the classics, love the one you’re with. A deep golden yellow hue here, the nose has a lovely gingery note along with florals, spices, citrus, tropical touches and herbs with a hint of stonefruits. This is an attractive textural style of medium length. Enjoy this wine now and over the next four to five years which represents great value. Drink 2024-2029.
