Domaine Gueguen is based in the hamlet of Préhy, just 7 km southwest of Chablis. Céline Brocard Gueguen and her husband Frédéric farm 36 hectares of prime real estate across the Chablis region, a cadre of Kimmeridgian and Portlandian-rich plots —home to organically managed, mature and low-yielding vines.
Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of pear and lime intermix with oyster shell, wet slate and mineral notes. Concentrated and shapely the palate features fresh pear and lime fruits over a wet slate and mineral flint back drop. Brisk acidity with a long flinty mineral laced finish that shows ample flesh and textural volume.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
