2023 Delas Saint-Esprit Cotes du Rhone

Rich and succulent with medium body weight, chewy tannins and a youthfully fresh finish.

Founded in 1835 in the heart of the northern Rhône, the Saint-Esprit is their entry level Cotes du Rhone offering that consistently delivers great value. A blend of Syrah and Grenache it’s aged in vats for a period of 8 months.
Very deep midnight black core with a dark red black tinged hue. Enticing dark raspberry, liquorice and ripe black cherry scents sail from the glass with plenty of intensity followed by some Provincial herb, earthy incense and pepper notes. Rich and succulent, the mid weighted palate is awash with dark raspberry, black cherry and liquorice fruits. Chewy tannins with some blueberry freshness to the herb du Provence and peppered earth back drop. Finishes long, youthfully fresh and juicy.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
