2023 David Duband Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers Premier Cru
David Duband is regarded as one of the rising stars of Burgundy. He took over his family domaine at a very young age and now has more than 20 vintages of experience behind him. Starting out with small family holdings David, together with his business partner Francois Feuillet, have added to their portfolio of wines through the purchase of some exceptional old Grand cru vineyards throughout Gevrey Chambertin and Morey St Denis, including prime holdings of retiring vigneron Jacky Truchot.
Other Reviews....
A cornucopia of floral elements jumps from the glass to complement the essence of wild red cherry scents. The middle weight flavors are gorgeously textured and are a lovely combination of finesse, punch and minerality, all wrapped in a firm, serious and balanced finale. This is excellent and well-worth a look. Drink through 2033+.

Allen Meadows - Burghound
The pink side of ruby with a delightful fresh raspberry fruit with some roses alongside, then white pepper to spice up the finish. This is beautifully balanced, a wine at ease with itself. Actually, Les Sentiers builds at the back, gaining a little more weight. Drink from 2030-2036.
