Dense inky black heart with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Aromas of black cherry and liquorice sail through the nostrils followed by some dried herb, scorched earth and pepper notes. The full bodied palate is awash with rich blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fruits which have a juicy feel. Inky earth and blackpepper lie underneath. Gently chewy tannins with a youthful freshness across the generously fruited mid length finish.
