Matured for 10 months in 25% new French oak barriques and 75% in older oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with hints of green around the edges and a watery hue. White peach and nectarine aromas drift from the glass followed by hints of dried honey, crème brulee and bacon fat. Fleshy nectarine and peach fruits have a nicely rounded feel across the mid weighted palate with some bacon fat, dried honey and vanillin spice characters lying underneath. Finishes dry with a cream tinged aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
