2023 Castle Rock Estate Chardonnay

Fermented in 2 and 3 year old barrels. Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted nectarine and grapefruit aromas are followed by hints of biscuity oak, melon and gun flint. Fresh and elegant the mid weighted palate features nectarine and grapefruit flavours infused with gun flint over a back drop of biscuity oak and citrus characters. Finishes dry with lively acidity and a light refreshing aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
