2023 Brancaia Chianti Classico DOCG

A savoury, red to black fruited Chianti with bright acidity and gently chalky tannins.

Very deep dark red colour with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Spicy red to dark currant, violet and red liquorice aromas are interwoven with earth, dried herb and tobacco notes. Mid weighted the palate features a mix of red to black currant and red cherry fruits which meld into an earthy back drop of tobacco, dried herbs and spice. Gently chalky, fine grained tannins and bright acidity concluding savoury and elegant.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Aromas of cherries, dried herbs, strawberry bush, wet stones and subtle spices with some dusty mineral notes. Silky and textured on the medium-bodied palate, it’s deliciously fruity and smooth, with a lingering finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
