2023 Bleasdale Bremerview Shiraz
A nicely fleshed, mid weighted Shiraz.
Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Dark cherry, plum and liquorice scents drift out of the glass followed by some vanillin cedar and subtle earthy mint like notes. Nicely fleshed, the mid weighted palate features generous dark plum, ripe cherry and liquorice fruits which meld into a dusty vanillin cedar and spice back drop. Fine grained tannins with a juicy medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 13.5%
Other Reviews….
All styles, all price points – Bleasdale does it all so well. This is tip-top with its upfront fruit flavours, spiced plums and black cherries, a touch of kirsch, too. It’s spicy, very juicy and tangy, super vibrant with just enough fruit tannins to add more shape to its barely medium-bodied palate. Nice one. Drink by 2031.
