2023 Alpha Box & Dice Tarot Grenache

Alpha Box & Dice, located in McLaren Vale, is undertaking a "Wine Alphabet" project where each 'letter' represents a distinct winemaking venture, aiming to create a comprehensive collection of wines that showcase the various styles and grape varieties found in the well-known wine regions of South Australia, such as McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, and the Barossa Valley.
Handpicked and machine harvested fruit is femented on skins for one week (with 10% being wholebunch) before being pressed to tank where it matures in tank for a further 8 months.
Semi translucent red to dark red colour with a light red hue. Aromas of red raspberry and liquorice infused with pepper are trailed by some delicate earth and fresh herb notes. Juicy raspberry and cherry fruits meld into some red liquorice, confectionary and subtle pepper elements. Polished tannins with a lick of fresh acidity on the succulent red fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
