Matured in French oak puncheons for 9 months. Semi translucent red to dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Appealing aromas of spicy dark cherries, strawberries and violets enchant the olfactory senses with some dried clove and forest floor notes also evident. Light across the palate red cherry and strawberry fruits are intermeshed with infusions of fresh herbs, forest floor and spicy cedar. Supple feel with polished tannins and an elegant red fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Other Reviews....
Matured in 500L French puncheons (18% new) for nine months. A vibrant crimson red. This piqued my interest immediately with its engaging scents of wild strawberries, raspberries, floral notes and a little star anise. The light- to medium-bodied palate is pure fruited and gently plush and there's a good amount of persistent, fine-grained tannins giving the wine structure and longevity. Drink by 2029.
