2022 Yering Station Little Yering Pinot Noir

Yering Station was established in 1838 by the pioneering Ryrie brothers making it Victoria’s first vineyard. Over the years it changed ownership several times, until its current custodians, the Rathbone family, purchased it in 1996, turning it into a world class winery. Little Yering is Yering Station’s entry level label sourcing fruit from a range of premium cool climate Victorian vineyards.

A delicious entry level Pinot Noir that well and truly over delivers.

Semi translucent dark red core with black toned edges and a light red hue. Elevated red to dark cherry and strawberry aromas mix with some rhubarb, dried herb and light spicy cedar notes. Delicious dark cherry, wild strawberry and rhubarb flavours carry a well fleshed feel over a back drop of dried herbs, delicate earth and spicy cedar. Polished tannins with a juicy like feel to the long conclusion that’s both savoury and spicy.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
