Semi translucent bright dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light purple red hue. Perfumed scents of violets, red cherries and strawberries leap from the glass with some incense and spicy fresh herbs notes also evident. Intensely flavoured but quite simplistic, the palate features delicious juicy cherry and strawberry fruits over an anise and spicy fresh herb back drop. Supple mouth feel with velvety tannins, good freshness and a long moreish aftertaste.
